Desmond has an MA in Fine Art from the Royal College of Art, London. A well received artist, Desmond has many awards including Gold Medal and Ondaatje Prize for Portraiture from the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Exhibition, Mall Galleries, London and the Stephenson Harwood Prize for Painting from the Royal College of Art.
