Valeria Burgos is originally from New York where she worked at a clay studio and learned about traditional Japanese techniques. Graduating from Central Saint Martins with a BA in ceramic design where she developed an interest in the relationship between the objects we employ in our everyday lives. Consequently, focusing her time exploring the materiality of clay and the ethnographic cultures and rituals that surround it.
Valeria has always had an interest in the way people relate to objects and materials and likes to share that with whoever's willing to listen. She will always try and be the source of information she wishes she had, when she first discovered clay and hopes to foster curiosity in others.
