Acquire a sound knowledge in drawing, mixing and handling paint, taught through painting from observation or imagination. Explore your enthusiasms and interests; research and develop ideas, experimenting with traditional or contemporary media and processes. Imaginative and self-motivated work is encouraged in order to build a portfolio of coursework. Each student is encouraged to be independent and confidently creative.
What's the format?
An open-studio online art learning experience in your own home, with 2-hour weekly classes over 3 weeks delivered via Zoom.

How do I access my class?
HSoA Virtual classes are delivered using Zoom. Access details will be provided on your receipt and are available via your account dashboard. They will also be emailed to you the day before or 1 hour before your class starts.
What equipment will I need?
A desktop PC/Mac, laptop or tablet with an up to date internet browser (ideally Google Chrome or Firefox) and Zoom installed, a good internet connection, well lit room and your materials.
What art materials will I need?
The materials you need depend on the class you choose. You will find a downloadable materials list on each of the class pages and it's also provided with your receipt when you book.
