Leanne Commins is a graduate of Ceramic Design BA course at Central Saint Martins, with a background in fine art. She mostly works with hand building techniques to create large and small scale pieces about nature and environmental issues. Specialising in ceramics has given Leanne experience in throwing, mold making, slip-casting, screen printing decals and glaze preparation as well as familiarity with a variety of clay bodies. Alongside pursuing ceramics as a degree, she still actively practices fine art in her own time, mostly painting, drawing and film photography.
