Having gained a Fine Art degree from Middlesex University, John developed his figurative practice through self directed study, attending local drawing classes and short courses for a number of years. His artistic interest lies mainly in the human figure, and he has worked with performers from backgrounds in dance, theatre and mime. He has exhibited in the Jerwood Drawing Prize (2015) and participated in art events at the Zabludowicz Collection, Crypt Gallery and the London Contemporary Dance School.

Start or progress your journey to a career in Fine Art or Applied Art with our studio-based full-time courses including Saturday Portfolio Course, Fine Art Advanced Course and Fine Art Level 3 Foundation Course.
Fine art studios, a sculpture & ceramics studio, life drawing room, printmaking, silk painting and jewellery making facilities, dedicated studio spaces for Foundation & Advanced Course students, galleries and cafe.
