Frank Bowling's upcoming retrospective at Tate Britain

We are delighted to spread the news that HSoA artist-patron, Frank Bowling's retrospective will be showing at Tate Britain from May 31st - August 28th 2019. 

Frank Bowling OBE RA is a Guyana born British trained artist, and elected member of the Royal Academy of Art. Frank has work in many permanent collections including the Metropolitan Museum and Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Tate.

The exhibition will cover the entirety of Frank Bowling’s sustained and esteemed career, chronologically following his art through key series, including his 'map paintings' of the late 1960s, the beautiful 'poured paintings' and his sculptural paintings from the 1980s continuing through to his recent work.
