Date: 16 Jun - 9 Jul, 2021
This year has been a time when all our full time students have had to adapt to the challenging circumstances. They have demonstrated incredible resilience to overcome the hurdles put before them and over the last few months have created thoughtful work for their final exhibition.
Please do join us for the Private View to celebrate their achievements on Wednesday 16 June, 6-8.30pm.
The Advanced Course is focused on developing skills essential to a successful and sustainable studio practice. This is an intensive programme of study with discussion and research based development, including taught units and independent projects. Complimented with visits to celebrated artist's studios, developing work comprises practical and theoretical thinking and the production of series of work that may include painting, 2D and 3D forms, print designs, and lens-based media. The courses provide an opportunity to question your current thinking, challenging perceptions to explore or find a new location. This year’s students are involved in active practice, working from professional studios or working from the art school itself.
