Offering a dramatic insight into the history of art and analysing pictorial compositions, we will explore different periods, Old Masters' personal stories and rivalries which will be presented in a dialogue with contemporary art. Using illustrated presentations as well as class discussions with supplementary notes and materials - a great way to get to know art history as a descriptive, insightful and creative process.

Are you a HSoA student booking online for the first time?
Having gained a Fine Art degree from Middlesex University, John developed his figurative practice through self directed study, attending local drawing classes and short courses for a number of years. His artistic interest lies mainly in the human figure, and he has worked with performers from backgrounds in dance, theatre and mime. He has exhibited in the Jerwood Drawing Prize (2015) and participated in art events at the Zabludowicz Collection, Crypt Gallery and the London Contemporary Dance School.
