As an arts education charity we are committed to delivering classes at affordable fees for our students. On average, our classes cost just £18 per 3 hour session.
This course will offer a chronological overview of the history of art, from the early Renaissance, c.1400, to early 20th-century surrealism. In illustrated lectures, discussions and museum visits, students will explore the making and meaning of painting, sculpture and graphic works, with reference to their historical background. As former Print and Old Master Picture specialist at Christie’s and other London galleries, the tutor will bring her hands-on experience and connoisseurship to bear on the course. Beginners welcome.
