Sculpture & The Dancer

Sculpture & The Dancer

Working with a trained dancer as the model, this is an opportunity to create three dance inspired sculptures.

One of the poses will be standing and can be modeled in wax on a prepared armature or modeled in a day as a torso. The other two poses will be ground based and suitable for clay modelling.

The focus will be on the dynamics of the poses and the anatomy.

Work can be stylized or naturalistic.

This workshop is suitable for those with some experience in sculpture.
There will be a small additional charge for the wax during the workshop.

The workshop will take place in HSoA Main Building, Sculpture Studio.
