Be inspired by artist Hedwig Smulders based in the Netherlands who makes sculptures inspired by nature. Using drawing as a stepping stone, Smulders skill is delicate & sensitively observed to capture qualities which reach into the delicacy of form & shape to create a Albrecht Durer like quality. Using precise linear articulation, the leaves become characterised as ‘individual’s before being immortalised in carved Stone! Use the materials of your choice.
