Be inspired by artist Gillian Singer based in the UK who makes artwork’s inspired by the Rosetta Stone, The stone was carved during the Hellenistic period it uses 3 languages The top & middle texts are in Ancient Egyptian while the bottom is in Ancient Greek making the Rosetta Stone key to deciphering of ancient Egyptian scripts. Writing is a fascinating addition to artworks & an inspiration in itself. Matisse, Leonardo, Sol le Witt & others have all incorporated it. Make your own version using the materials of your choice
