This weekend is the last chance to see the wonderful paintings of the HSoA Patron Frank Bowling OBE RA at Tate Britain. The exhibition will then tour across continents so unless you plan to visit Chicago or Buenos Aires in the next 12 months this is your best chance to see this major retrospective.
The exhibition has received critical acclaim from a wide range of print and online media including: The New York Times, The Telegraph, The Times, The Financial Times, The Guardian, Vogue and Camden New Journal. BBC Four also produced a documentary on Frank as part of their What do Artists Do All Day series.
Frank Bowling also appears in a Portrait by HSoA artist Tedi Lena who was selected for the 2019 BP Portrait Award, currently showing at the National Portrait Gallery.
Frank Bowling OBE RA is Patron of Hampstead School of Art together with Alan Gouk & Francisco Gazitua. We are delighted and grateful that Frank offers The Frank Bowling HSoA annual bursary to our Fine Art Level 3 Foundation Course
