In the wake of #metoo, the Royal Academy has announced that its next exhibition featuring nudes will have an equal split of men and women.
Tracing the development of the nude through some of the great masters of the Renaissance including Titian, Raphael, Michelangelo and Leonardo, and with almost exact parity between paintings, sculptures and drawings of male and female nudes, 'The Renaissance Nude' opens in March 2019 and will include works created from 1400 to 1530.
Art Critic and HSoA tutor Estelle Lovatt joins the BBC Radio 4 Today team to talk about the exhibition.
