Learn clay hand-building to create extraordinary vessels. This course will introduce you to the process of hand-making ceramics, including techniques of pinching, coiling and slab-building. You will learn how to apply traditional and contemporary clay surface decorating techniques - intaglio, relief surfaces, scraffito, coloured slip painting and stencilling. The process of firing and glazing will also be introduced. This course is suitable for all levels.
