Develop drawing skills in order to progress with confidence to paint with oils. Core skills will be learnt within historic context if desired. Projects are offered aiming to develop your own creative language. All levels of experience welcome.

Suggested materials for beginners:
• Winsor & Newton Tear-Off Palette Pad (23×31cm, 50 sheets)
• Basic oil brush set (hog or synthetic, assorted shapes: flat, filbert, round) – e.g. Cass Art Synthetic Brush Set (8-piece) or 3–4 individual W&N Winton hog brushes.
Paints – Winsor & Newton Winton Oil Colour (Student Grade)
• Titanium White
• Ivory Black
• Burnt Umber
• Burnt Sienna
• Yellow Ochre
• Lemon Yellow
• Ultramarine Blue
• Phthalo Green (or Viridian Hue)
• Cadmium Red Hue
Mediums
• Winsor & Newton Refined Linseed Oil (75ml)
• Winsor & Newton Sansodor Low Odour Solvent (or Zest-It, ~125ml)
